---|---|---|
Submission Timeline | All deadlines are at 11:59pm EST on the listed date. | |
Submission Platform | All submission materials must be submitted electronically to EasyChair. Select the "Technical Papers" track. | |
Submission Length | There is no paper length limit or requirement; however, reviewers will be instructed to consider the paper's contribution relative to its length. Previous SCF technical papers have been 5,000-10,000 words in length. | |
Anonymity | Submissions should be anonymized for double-blind review. Authors must remove their names and affiliations throughout all submission materials (paper and any supplementary material). | |
Submission Format |
Follow the ACM SIGGRAPH Instructions for Authors, paraphrased here:
If using LaTeX, use the Overleaf template or the acmart package with the parameters \documentclass[manuscript,anonymous,review]{acmart} .
If using Word, use this template. In either case, the expected format is a single-column document with wide line spacing suitable for review. Please use "author year" citations, not numbered citations. |
Demos
Demos are an exciting way to show current computational fabrication research at SCF. We invite the SCF community to submit work, including work-in-progress, to the curated and non-archival Demo track. Demoers will have their own Discord voice/video channels during the SCF virtual conference where they can show their work to members of the SCF community during the demo times. We strongly encourage students and junior researchers to present their work to the SCF community during the demo session.

Submission Platform | All submission materials must be submitted electronically to EasyChair. | |
Submission Format | Describe your demo in a 1 page abstract using the ACM single-column manuscript format. Your submission can include figures, does not need to be anonymized, and the 1 page limit does not include references. You can include an optional preview video of your demo of max 2 minutes. | |
Acceptance | Demo proposals will be curated. The criteria will include relevance to computational fabrication. Acceptance to the demo track will be announced on October 15th. | |
Presentation Format | We will publish the demo abstracts on the SCF website along with optional 30s video figures of the demos. During the conference on October 28th and 29th, at least 1 author will be required to show their demo on the Discord platform during the demo times. |
Posters
Due to our virtual conference format, we will not be jurying Posters for SCF'21. We hope to restore this category for SCF'22, and look forward to your submissions at that time!
