Virtual SCF and New Deadlines
May 26, 2020
Because of continuing uncertainties about whether we will be able to gather physically as a community, the organizing committee has decided to move SCF'20 to a fully virtual symposium. While this is not the SCF that everyone originally envisioned, we believe that it will be the best way to provide an inclusive and engaging experience to the entire community while maintaining their safety.
In that vein, we are excited to announce that ACM SCF will be held this fall on November 5-6, 2020. We plan to hold two days of symposium talks and online discussions. There will be no conference registration fee.
The deadline for paper submission is now August 10, 2020. All accepted papers will be presented at this year's virtual conference, and offered the opportunity to present in person at SCF'21 in Boston.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to one of the general or area chairs. We look forward to seeing you at SCF'20!

SCF Postponed
March 22, 2020
We have been monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and its effect on the SCF community. To protect the safety and well-being of our community and to ensure that SCF, when it does convene, is able to reflect your full work and capabilities, we have decided to postpone ACM SCF 2020 and the corresponding submission deadlines by at least two months.
We are currently coordinating with ACM to find new dates in the fall (likely November) to host the symposium, and we are exploring options for virtual participation for those of you for whom physical attendance may still not be possible.
New dates for the symposium and paper/poster deadlines will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing all of the new innovations this community has made when we gather this fall.
