On-Site Information

The conference will be held at Cornell Tech campus in New York City. We expect many great opportunities to mingle and learn with fellow Computational Fabrication enthusiasts, and we hope that you will be among them!

For your convenience, we've curated a set of practical tips on accommodation, navigation, and more, found below. Stay tuned for more updates as the event approaches!

Conference Location

Cornell Tech
2 West Loop Road, New York, NY 10044

Transportation

Cornell Tech is located on Roosevelt Island in New York City. Here's how you can reach the campus:

  • Subway: Take the F train to the Roosevelt Island stop. Walk south .3 miles on W Road. (Warning: During the conference there will be no F-Train service on Roosevelt Island. In its place, the MTA will be running F-Shuttle Trains between Manhattan and Queens stopping at Roosevelt Island approximately every 20 minutes.)
  • Tram: Catch the Tram at 59th street and 2nd Avenue. Campus is just south of the Queensboro bridge station.
  • Ferry: The Astoria route of NYC Ferry will connect you to a landing just east of campus.
  • Bike: Access Roosevelt Island by bike via the Roosevelt Island Bridge from 36th Street in Queens, then ride south on Main Street.
  • Bus: The Q102 bus connects Roosevelt Island to Long Island City and Astoria in Queens.
  • Car: Access Roosevelt Island by car via the Roosevelt Island Bridge from 36th Street in Queens, then drive south down Main Street.

Accomodations

We recommend Graduate New York for conference attendees. Alternatively, for those seeking budget-friendly accommodation, consider exploring hotels in Queens, which often offer more cost-effective options compared to Manhattan.

We will post more information as the conference nears -- stay tuned!
